Dr Eve Mand
Gynecologist
Working languages – Estonian, Russian, English
I decided to become a gynecologist already when I entered medical school. During my summer holidays, I worked as a nursing assistant in a maternity ward, where I became fascinated by the “miracle of birth.” Although I no longer do shifts in the maternity ward, I still work with pregnant patients on an outpatient basis. In 2012, I completed advanced training in colposcopy; I enjoy working with cervical changes and providing counselling on their prevention. I also enjoy advising young patients and helping to address issues related to menopause. I perform minor surgical procedures as well. I have also worked in aesthetic surgery and completed relevant training.
I actively participate in professional training both in Estonia and abroad, and I strive to stay up to date with the best knowledge in my field.
